Project Overview

Aztec Stone and Reclmations are leading suppliers of new and reclaimed building, landscaping and garden products and wanted a new website to showcase their large range of products.

Our web team delivered a website with ecommerce functionality, allowing users to see product variations, enquire about bespoke products and also have the option to purchase online and collect from their shop.

The design team also incorporated stone textures and colours from their logo throughout the website.

Latest StockHomepage Feed

We included a latest stock feed on the homepage so the client could add new products and the latest ones would feed through to the homepage carosuel. We added this to the homepage so the user could see the newest added products and get an idea of the type of stock that is available before clicking off to the product-specific pages.

ProductCategories

As Aztec Stone and Reclamations have a large range of products, we included product-specific categories so that the user could browse easily through the different types of products they sell.

We defined the main categories which are Stone and Reclamations and then created sub-categories within so that users could shop specific to what they are looking for.

VaraiableProducts

We included the functionality to have variable products on the website as a lot of the stone products come in different size options, this gives the user the ability to choose a size that is specific to their needs.

Enquiry BasedProducts

We also included the functionality for the client to add enquiry based products to the site as they have a reclamation yard and people may buy the products in person there, so instead of adding these products as online purchases, we added them as enquiry based products to ensure that they are definitely available in stock.

Our old website was very dated so we contacted multiple web developers to design us a new website. Discovery Design stood out from the rest as being very professional yet approachable, nothing was too much trouble for them. They listened to our ideas and then expanded on them giving us routes that we hadn't even thought of. The design process was easy and we were able to make multiple layout changes. We were giving a tutorial on how to use the back end of our new website and they were very patient as were not the most tech savvy. Overall we are delighted with the new site and will be using Discovery Design to take our business to the next level in years to come.
