Project Overview

Based in Goa, India, Paradise School is India's first Self Organised Learning Environment (SOLE) Cambridge School. They came to us for a professional, sleek website design that showcases the school and the intellectual independent learning journey the children experience, as well as capturing their dynamic personality online.

We listened to Paradise School's CEO & Founder - Shilpa Mehta, to understand their ethos and innovative ways of learning to ensure we created a website which was visually pleasing, meaningful and introduce the school to the world in a stylish way.

The design took inspiration from their brand, colour scheme, and spirit with additional fun elements which really brought the design to life online. The end result captures their enthusiasm for education and embodies the school's personality.

CreativeAnimation

We included creative animation throughout the site to enhance the user experience and to add an exciting and energetic touch to the design and content.

A feature animation was created for the hero section to showcase their colourful imagery and to give an inspiring introduction to the website.

We also complimented the design with subtle but effective animation on buttons and when content loads in.

BespokeImage Galleries

We also designed bespoke, interactive image galleries to feature Paradise School's vibrant imagery throughout the website.

AdmissionForm

We also included an admission form to the website, so that parents could send an initial admission enquiry to enroll their children into Paradise School. This streamlines the admission's process for the school meaning they could easily onboard new pupils following a form submission.

I have had the most fantastic and professionally rewarding experience working with Discovery Design recently, and with such a great result - an amazing, slick, sophisticated yet energised website that fully captures the personality of our dynamic school. I had been avoiding upgrading my website for a long time because the sheer task of gathering information, digging through photographs, WRITING COPY seemed too arduous to do alone, along with a very busy schedule actually running the school. I approached Discovery to see if they could help, and they assured me they would guide me through this process. What followed was a series of Zoom meetings, where they carefully listened to me as I attempted to express the values and ethos of my organisation. Then they would come back with ideas of how to express that in a website form. They were very open to me rejecting certain approaches, as well as welcoming others. Through this journey, we came up with our beautiful new site. I must hand it to the Discovery team - you really listened to me deeply. James explained certain design concepts to me, Kate you are the best, carved out the shape of the site and to the builders Tom, Rob and Ashley who technically brought it to life. Not to mention Sarah in finance who was so polite and lovely. The whole team showed me great sensitivity, respect, recognising my life and my efforts - they so sincerely reflected back to me what I had created; my beloved school. This process to get the best website possible for my school was interesting, fun, and exciting. When I needed to be pushed (for copy etc) Kate found the right tone haha. All in all, I wish I had another school for them to build a website for! I would highly recommend the amazing humans @ Discovery Design to handle your next project, don't even hesitate. They will give you the most incredible result and you will be full of joy. When business is like this, I can live forever
