Operating around the world, superyacht specialists West Nautical is the premier destination for luxury yacht charters and sales. Guests can browse their fleet of yachts available for bookings and also the range of global destinations they can explore on their bespoke charter.

We collaborated with West Nautical on their Google Ads campaigns to grow their online bookings for their yacht charters. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the travel industry encountered monumental challenges caused by the world-wide travel restrictions. Therefore, we proactively pivoted our strategy to promote their yacht management service to owners who wanted to charter their yachts, but didn’t want to manage it themselves. This allowed West Nautical to still maintain visibility and operational activity whilst they couldn’t promote their yacht charters. As travel restrictions gradually lifted around the world, we crafted personalised charter campaigns for each destination, from the Caribbean to Guernsey!

When you are marketing in the luxury industry, it’s crucial that you’re targeting the users who are in the market to purchase your goods or services and not targeting the online “window-shoppers” who are searching out of curiosity. We leveraged Google Search campaigns coupled with precise keyword targeting to target the right people, at the right place, at the right time.

We also leveraged bespoke Display Ads to sell the experience of chartering a luxury yacht in premium destinations around the world. This allowed us to target people who are still considering booking a yacht charter to push them further down the funnel.
