Project Overview
EUK Hosting, one of the UK’s leading web hosting companies, came to Discovery Design for a new website. The main aim of the website was to showcase all of their many services, advertise their plans and help the user choose the best solution for them.
We were able to achieve all of the above by creating an organised and thought out wireframe whilst carefully splitting pages and sections to keep all of the information across the website in an easy-flowing style with bite-sized chunks of information for the user to take in.
The end result of the website is very vibrant but in a minimalistic way, with a clever use of a strong and bright colour palette used at specific sections of the website so that it doesn’t overwhelm the user and take their attention away from the content and imagery available.

Bespoke VectorIllustrations
We were asked to create bespoke vectors for the EUK Hosting website to help them stand out against their competitors. The vector illustrations allow each page and sections within pages to be bespoke and unique throughout the website.
DetailedPlans
Detailed plans are featured throughout most of the services pages, these plans outline what comes with each option with information such as prices and features. All plans have the option to show more information and also the option to change the price to include or exclude VAT.
The central view of each plan is a CTA to order, this is positioned to always be within the users viewpoint. As well as this, the features are made to be easier for users to take in with the help of icons for each feature. There are also highlighted tags that can be placed on each feature to showcase certain selling points such as ‘new’, ‘bespoke’ or ‘free’.

Custom DomainRegistration
We created a bespoke domain search functionality for EUK Host so that their users could easily enter their desired domain. If the domain name is available, the user will be able to purchase it via EUK Host, if not the user will then be shown a number of alternatives and be able to amend their search if the alternatives are not a good fit for them.

ReviewManagement
The previous website included a poor integration to TrustPilot, which impacted the site speed. We developed a system that syncs the reviews to the website - which means we can serve them to visitors without relying on a third party without delay.
DomainRegistration
We integrated with an existing billing system to automatically feed through prices to ensure that they are correct throughout the full purchase flow.
