Project Overview
Whites Print came to us for a brand new website to revamp their online presence. They had an outdated, unresponsive website and had historically focused on other areas of their business. The main purpose of their new website was to showcase their service offering and product range, as well as promoting the company’s history and working practices.

We introduced a new colour scheme and font combinations to compliment their brand. We also defined a sitemap which would improve their web flow to ensure users got to the appropriate pages easily.

The website also has e-commerce capability, with an account section for clients to place orders online.



Company’s History Timeline

Whites Print wanted to showcase the company’s rich history on their ‘About’ page. The company has been established for 125 years, but their previous site failed to mention this. We discussed different ways to illustrate this on the site and agreed a timeline would work best to show those who were interested in the long standing history of the company. Then users could read a timeline of events, but for those who weren’t as interested, we made sure to include a skip button so those user types could pass this section if it was not relevant to them.


Whites Print have 3 top-level services (Design, Print and Finishing) with several services within each category. We showcased these sub-services within their top-level service pages using accordions. Therefore users could read about the specific services they were interested in. By using accordions for these sections, it helps futureproof the design so the page content doesn’t become extremely long and it is less overwhelming for users taking in the most important information for them.


We also included an account login on the website so users who have an account can order their prints through an ecommerce ordering portal. Users without an account can also request an account to allow them to make a purchase.
